Egg Custard Tart (MAD)

Ingredients:
 g KetoCal 4:1 Powder Unflavoured
 g Macro (Woolworths), Nuts: Almond Meal
 g Devondale, Butters: Unsalted Butter
 g Water: Water
 g Eggs: Chicken Egg, whole, raw, fresh
 g MasterFoods, Seasonings: Nutmeg, Ground
 g Sugarless, Sugar Substitutes: Sugarless Liquid
 g Baking Products: Vanilla Essence
 g Bulla, Cream: Thickened Cream (35% Milk Fat)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C/gas mark 2-3
  2. Place KetoCal, almond meal and butter in a bowl. Rub in butter with fingertips
  3. Sprinkle water over the top and mix until it becomes a stiff crumbly pastry, then roll into a ball
  4. Line a small tartlet tin by pressing the pastry into the edges
  5. In a bowl, beat the oil, cream, sweetener and egg until combined.
  6. Fill the tarlet tin with this liquid mixture and sprinkle some nutmeg on top
  7. Cook for 10-12 mins, or until golden brown
Chef's tips
  1. For a sweeter tasting tart, use KetoCal 4:1 powder vanilla flavour
