Egg Custard Tart (4:1)

Ingredients:
g KetoCal 4:1 Powder Unflavoured
g Nut, almond, without skin, blanched
g Butter, no added salt
g Water, tap
g Oil, rice bran
g Cream, regular thickened, 35% fat
g Egg, chicken, whole, raw
g Nutmeg, ground
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 160°C/gas mark 2-3
2. Grind almonds to a meal
3. Place KetoCal, almond meal and butter in a bowl. Rub in butter with fingertips
4. Sprinkle water over the top and mix until it becomes a stiff crumbly pastry, then roll into a ball
5. Line a small tartlet tin by pressing the pastry into the edges
6. In a bowl, beat the oil, cream, sweetener and egg until combined.
7. Fill the tarlet tin with this liquid mixture and sprinkle some nutmeg on top
8. Cook for 10-12 mins, or until golden brown
Chef's tips
For a sweeter tasting tart, use KetoCal 4:1 powder vanilla flavour
